Cotiara Produtora was founded in August 2019, emerging from the meeting of producers and artists Ana Elisa Mello and Samya Enes in 2015. The company is responsible for the co-creation and curatorship of TEIMA Arts Festival, as well as the curatorship and production direction of CAIXA DE DANÇA, presented by Sesc Ipiranga.
Focused on the production of hybrid artistic projects, Cotiara Produtora collaborates with artists and companies from the contemporary arts scene, working across both national and international contexts. In addition to their work as producers, Ana Elisa and Samya are also curators and performing artists in projects developed by the company

Ana Elisa
Ana Elisa Mello is a creative producer, curator, and performing artist. A graduate of the School of Dramatic Arts (EAD/ECA/USP), she works across theatre, dance, and audiovisual media, developing hybrid projects and research connected to feminist dramaturgies and contemporary performance practices.
With nearly twenty years of experience in São Paulo’s cultural sector, she works in the creation, curatorship, production, and circulation of artistic projects, moving between different artistic languages and formats, as well as collaborating with festivals and cultural events in Brazil and abroad. She is the co-creator and curator of TEIMA – Arts Festival, guest curator of CAIXA DE DANÇA at Sesc Ipiranga, and guest curator of the Jaraguá do Sul Film Festival. She has been a member of theatre, dance, and improvisation groups, as well as the Feminist Dramaturgy Research Group coordinated by Maria Giulia Pinheiro.

Samya
Samya Enes is a creative producer, curator, and multidisciplinary artist. She holds degrees in Theatre from the Célia Helena Theatre School, Dance from Anhembi Morumbi University, and Screenwriting from Roteiraria. For the past twenty-six years, she has been active in São Paulo’s cultural scene, working across different territories, artistic disciplines, and performance practices.
She has worked in cultural production since 2000, building a career marked by multidisciplinary, socio-educational, and music-related projects. For more than ten years, she worked as an arts educator for children, young people, and adults. She is the co-creator and curator of TEIMA – Arts Festival, co-founder of Cotiara Produtora, and serves as production director and guest curator of CAIXA DE DANÇA. She also works as an artist and producer, developing projects that bring together artistic creation, curatorship, education, and cultural management.
