“Ovoé – A operetta do Ovo” is a theatrical montage under the artistic direction of Cida Almeida with Pronto Sorrir, which celebrates 10 years of the collective’s performance.

Pronto Sorrir is a non-profit cultural organization whose main mission is to promote artistic experiences to unlikely places, for interested and poorly assisted audiences. with more than 11 years of artistic experience in non-conventional theater spaces, work in pediatric hospitals, long-stay institutions for the elderly, NGOs, among others, And they have already connected with more than 45,000 hospitalized children and 1300 elderly people in situations of vulnerability.

synopsis

On the banks of what was once the river, there was the occupation of the Miriti das Sete Aves perch. They lived a boring routine, in the dryness of the sun, yolk stranded to the peak in the cachola. It never rained, let alone dusk.

The birds wanted the cloak of the night to come back that covered the immensity with fresh shadow and dreaming stars. until mysteriously an egg appears and with it the strength of novelty: to hope. Warrior birds fight to bring back the firmament and the flood of the Miriti River, which is said to be a snake, large canoe, who visits the sky on moonlit nights.

A legend created and fabled by many hands, heads and hearts, in a journey of players playing between toys and games, the discovery of what we have left is to become a child to project us inevitably to hope. At least, so we keep wishing!
