PÉDEMEMÓRIA

A performance and video project designed to be carried out with elderly women/grandmothers in a one-to-one encounter.

The performer offers to exchange foot massages for recreated memories shared by grandmothers about their own grandmothers.

Synopsis

A ritual for washing time and recreating the present. An ancestral evocation of touch through the activation of the skin’s memory, grounded in the intimacy expressed through the performativity of the shared word.
