Núcleo Fuga! is a territory of transdisciplinary experimentation that explores poetic contaminations between the languages of dance, theatre, and performance. The group’s research seeks to create encounters among artists and researchers around the interweaving of artistic practice and academic research, grounded in a notion of collectivity that embraces difference as an ethical stance.
The group emerged as a research line affiliated with LUME Teatro/UNICAMP in 2007, maintaining this connection until July 2019. It is currently registered as a research line linked to the Dance, Theatre, and Performing Arts programs at the State University of Mato Grosso do Sul (UEMS).
The members of Núcleo Fuga! reside in the following cities: Campinas (SP), Campo Grande (MS), Diamantina (MG), and São Paulo (SP), Brazil.
