Pronto Sorrir is a non-profit cultural organization whose primary mission is to bring artistic experiences to unexpected places, reaching engaged yet underserved audiences.
For the past 13 years, we have worked in pediatric hospitals across São Paulo, bringing the art of theatre to children and adolescents who are unable to access cultural venues due to health conditions, as well as to their families, caregivers, and hospital staff.
All activities are carried out by professional artists who visit every area of the hospital, focusing on discovering and fostering—alongside children and their families—new forms of playfulness, connection, and creative engagement within the hospital environment, helping to create new narratives around this delicate experience.
Today, Pronto Sorrir has expanded its work beyond hospitals. We now promote artistic experiences in long-term care institutions for older adults, in addition to developing educational activities, producing accessible audiovisual content, and creating original performances.
